A: Trash must be put out Sunday night for Monday morning pick up. It must be put in animal proof containers since we share the neighborhood with various animals that think our trash is a buffet. Plastic bags are not acceptable.
A: Yes. You can pay monthly or weekly, whichever you prefer. Or just make payment at your convenience. If you currently have a zero balance and wish to begin making payments now toward next years dues, your payments will be credited to your account. This may make budgeting for you annual dues a lot more comfortable. It would eliminate the necessity of a large lump sum payment when you receive your bill and may help you to be sure your balance is paid in full before the late charge is levied on March 1st.
A: No, there is no burning allowed in Indian Mountain Lake. There is a $500.00 fine for illegal burning in our community.
A: Since IML is a private community, it receives no funding from any municipality and must rely solely on the income from member dues and assessments in order to maintain and/or improve the community and protect the investment of all property owners.
A: Payment of dues provides access to facilities owned and operated by the Association, such as roads, lakes, beaches, pools and tennis courts. They are also used for general maintenance, security, trash collection, taxes, utilities, equipment, insurance, legal representation, administration and recreational facilities.
A: If you have not provided the office with a current vehicle registration, please do so as soon as possible since this could be the reason your card is not working. Gate cards will also be deactivated if your financial account carries an outstanding balance. There are also instances where the card for some unknown reason just does not work. If this is the case, please bring your card to the office and it will be replaced at no charge. We do need the old card back in order to do this.
A: Bulk items are picked up with the regular trash pick up with the following exceptions:
- Bulk items will be limited to one (1) item every other week beginning on January 2, 2006.
- Any appliance with freon must have the freon removed by a certified technician and the certification attached to the appliance.
- They will not take building materials, car parts or hazardous waste.
- House “clean-outs” are not part of this service. The intent of including bulk items is to provide members an avenue to dispose of 1 bulk item every other week, when necessary, without causing them an additional expense of a separate pick-up.
